Sunday 25 March 2012 – Feel Good Look Good
Ladies, this is the day to pamper yourself! Treatments/therapies on offer, from 9:30 to 4:30 at Michael Sobell Hospice, are:- aromatherapy, reflexology, Reiki, Indian head massage, back or foot massage, Body Talk, Emotional Freedom Technique, facials, foot care, manicure, pedicure and nail art, each given by qualified professionals. Sessions are from 30 min and cost from £20 and must be booked beforehand. Taster sessions can be booked on the day and Gift Vouchers are available.

Dear supporters I know many of you have been looking forward to this great event that was due to take place 29 March this year. Due to unforeseen circumstances this will now be taking place as a finale event to our 35th Anniversary celebrations in March 2013. Updates can be found on our website and in our newsletter.
Saturday 28 April 2012 – Annual Plant Sale
Organised by our award-winning team of volunteer gardeners, our annual plant sale in the Hospice grounds is proving more and more popular. Bedding and exotic plants, vegetable and fruit patch favourites, and pots are sold at very reasonable prices and refreshments are available. The sale opens at 10:00 and closes at 12.30 and entrance is free. See you there!
Saturday 12 May 2012 – Strictly Dance Workshop
(Re-Scheduled from the original date of Saturday 17th March )
Designed for those who would love to learn the basics of Ballroom and Latin American dances, this workshop with two professional dancers is open to adults of all ages. Donate £15 for a ticket and come and join us from 10:30 to 4:00 in the Michael Sobell Centre Lecture Hall. Places are limited so contact us soon to reserve a place to dance and socialise.
Sunday 20 May 2012 – Sponsored Bike Ride
We have 12, 23 and 50 mile routes, all on-road to suit all abilities. Put your thighs to the test and take this cycling challenge for a very good cause! Registration at Michael Sobell Centre Lecture Hall, opens at 7:00 and the ride starts at 8:00. Pre-registration fees (for entries received by Wednesday 16 May) are:- £10 for adults, £5 for children and £25 for a family (2 adults and 2 children). Entry fees thereafter will be £20 for adults, £10 for children and £45 for a family.
Saturday 2 June 2012 – Diamond Jubilee Celebration
Michael Sobell Hospice will be represented at our Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration, organised by Northwood and Northwood Hills Residents Associations, to be held from 11:00 to 4:30 at Northwood Recreation Ground, Chestnut Avenue. This is a once-in-a -lifetime event so please come and support your local community and have fun at the same time!!
Friday 15 June 2012 – Ladies in the Night Walk
Join us on a lovely summer’s evening and walk 5 or 9 miles with friends and family in the locality of Moor Park and Northwood. There will be a fun workout beforehand, themed merchandise for sale, refreshments en route and marshals to keep you safe! The entrance fee is £20, which includes your T-shirt and fundraising pack, plus breakfast.
Sunday 8 July 2012 – Vintage Fair
A fun day out for all the family, come along to the grounds of Mount Vernon Hospital and peruse our stalls selling a variety of homemade and vintage items. Be entertained by swing and jazz bands and chat to the proud owners of a display of classic cars, or have your antiques and collectables professionally valued. The fair is from 11:00 to 5:00 and entry fees are:- Adults £5, Children £2.50, Senior Citizens £4.
