here are some of the literally hundreds of collecting
boxes that have been emptied of their money and are
now awaiting a good clean in time for our Easter appeal.
The boxes have come from our many wonderful supporters-
banks, pubs, health clubs, schools, churches and a variety
of retail outlets have all played their part with many
others in the community to raise in excess of £16,500.00
this year -with some money to still come in! We would
like to thank everyone who held a box for us over the
Christmas period, and wish them a very happy new year.
We would like to thank our volunteers for their wonderful
efforts over this period- drivers, who both deliver
and pick up the boxes and the fundraising volunteers
who prepare the boxes for distribution, count the money
when the boxes are returned and subsequently clean the
boxes ready for our next campaign.
Special thanks must go to Anne Hall and Joan Lambert
who co-ordinated the appeal producing this wonderful
record breaking total.
