The
Corporate Sales Team of Chelsea Football Club at Stamford
Bridge have passed an absolute peach to The Friends
of Michael Sobell House. By raffling a football at the
Chelsea v Wigan match on the 13th of January 2007 signed
by the whole Chelsea squad (yes, it is a big football!)
the amazing sum of £3,964.00 was raised on our
behalf. The Corporate Sales Team raffle a football in
this way at every Chelsea home match for charity.
Recognising that professional football clubs and their
players do not always attract good press we are proud
to be a recipient of Chelsea FC’s generosity,
an aspect of the beautiful game which does not always
receive recognition.
Sheniz Osman of the Corporate Sales Team told Steve
Grudgings that “We have nine members of the team
walking around the corporate areas selling the raffle
tickets at every game- we choose a different charity
every match and we only allow each charity to benefit
from this once a season, but we are looking forward
to supporting you again next season when we will raffle
another signed football for the Friends of Michael Sobell
House.”
We would like to thank Sheniz and the rest of The Corporate
Sales Team at Chelsea Football Club for their amazing
fundraising efforts on our behalf.
