On Monday the 7th July, Steve Grudgings The Friends
of Michael Sobell House, Head of Fundraising was presented
with a cheque for £250.00 by Pupils of Douay Martyrs
Roman Catholic School, Ickenham.
Steve
pictured here with students ranging from year 7 to year
10, had raised this money form a number of fundraising
events and ideas that included, a talent show, an own
clothes day, car washing, cakes sales, 5-a-side football
and a raffle.
Michael Sobell House was not the only organisation
to benefit from all of these things, in fact the school
gave away over £4,000.00 on the 7th July, all
of it going to good causes.
The Friends of Michael Sobell House would like to thank
the Head Teacher Mrs G Davies and Chaplain (Charity
co-ordinator) Ms Luisa Foley for all of the hard work
they have put in and for nominating The Friends of Michael
Sobell House as a benefiting charity.
