A great 'Century' ride along beautiful lanes through a wide sweep of Cheshire, starting and finishing at Wythenshawe Park, Manchester. The route heads first to Northwich, taking in Delamere Forest and Nantwich for lunch (the half way point) before heading back through Middlewich to the Finish.

told Steve Grudgings why he is embarking on this task
We are going to cycle 100 miles on 2nd September 2007 on behalf of Irshad Hassan in order to raise money for the "Michael Sobell House". This very special Hospice aims to ensure that all patients who are facing a life threatening disease such as cancer receive the best possible care to enhance their quality of life.
The staff at Michael Sobell house also aims to promote the patient's physical and psychological comfort, respecting their dignity and individuality. The team involve and supports the patient, family and carers to help them meet their emotional, social and physical needs.
Irshad Hassan is an amazing and inspirational father who has been a cancer patient himself for over nine years; we wanted to take this opportunity to support the wonderful services of Michael Sobell House.
