The Friends of Michael Sobell House are proud to have been chosen as the main beneficiary charity of the Imperial College School of Medicine Students’ RAG. The Imperial College School of Medicine, based in South Kensington, London is one of the foremost medical colleges in the UK.

The Friends’ Trustees, Michael Sobell House staff and most importantly our patients and their families would like to thank everyone at the Imperial College School of Medicine Student Union for choosing The Friends of Michael Sobell House as their main charity of the year.
Listed below are the events already planned to take place next year. So don’t be surprised if you see collecting buckets for Michael Sobell House anywhere between London and Edinburgh!

2007-8
Sept 2007: ‘Half-way dinner’ – 3rd Year medical student dinner marking completion of half of their medical course
31st Oct 2007: Halloween ‘Blood Trail’ – First year orientated collecting in South Kensington Area
7th November 2007: ‘RAG Centurion’ – 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes!
1st- 3rd Feb 2008: ‘RAG Dash’ – Medical school hitch-hike to Leeds and coach the following morning to Edinburgh
15th Feb 2008: ‘RAG Valentines Ball’ – Black Tie. Involves whole medical school.
18th- 22nd Feb 2008: RAG WEEK
Mon: RAG games: week introduction, bar games, auctions etc
Tues: RAG invasion; students complete tasks throughout London , whilst collecting
Wed: TBC
Thursday: Circle Line Pub Crawl
Friday: RAG review / Earls-court roller disco
March 2008: Imperial College School of Medicine Fashion Show
May 2008: 24-hour Opera – producing a musical in just 24 hours
