In the current economic climate news of success tends to be overshadowed by the gloomy financial forecast. However, on Saturday 9th May the sun was shining and money was being spent at the Annual Plant Sale in aid of Michael Sobell House Hospice.

The well attended event was hosted in the beautiful gardens of Michael Sobell House, based at Mount Vernon Hospital. The plants for sale were generously donated by local suppliers and some of our wonderful green fingered supporters grew plants from seeds specifically for the event. There was an impressive array of plants for sale helping to raise a recession beating £1,445.88.
