A big thank you to Randalls of Uxbridge for adopting
Michael Sobell House as their chosen charity over the
2005 Christmas period. Each Christmas Randalls  adopts
a local charity to be the beneficiary of this fundraising
activity.
Geraint Hughes of the Friends’ Fundraising team
was invited by Maggie Hegarty on behalf of Randalls
on 14th March to take receipt of the splendid sum of
£136.57 raised or donated by employees of the
store. We would like to acknowledge the kind support
of Mrs Randall in adopting Michael Sobell House.
It is hoped that the store will also become a collection
point for used printer cartridges and old or unwanted
mobile phone handsets. We are appealing to residents
and local businesses to generate a regular supply of
these items for recycling to raise further funds for
Michael Sobell House.
