 Patients and friends in the day therapies unit were splendidly entertained by the Ruislip Belles & Beaux handbell ringing team when they visited Michael Sobell House on Wednesday 13th February 2008.
Ruislip Belles & Beaux are very enthusiastic supporters of Michael Sobell House and on this occasion rang a number of popular tunes enabling their audience to sing along, including Two Lovely Black Eyes, Amazing Grace, Greensleeves and Strawberry Fair. Classical too was represented in their repertoire with Ode to Joy and Largo.
The handbell group kindly presented a fundraising cheque for £1,200 to MSH representing money raised by the group during 2007, entertaining at retirement homes, nursing homes and in shopping malls.
The Friends of Michael Sobell House are very grateful to the group for their continued support and wonderful music, greatly enjoyed by all present.
