The Friends of Michael Sobell House were represented at this event for the first time ever last Saturday, on what started out to be a very overcast day when we arrived to set up at 11am the weather soon improved with the sun  making a rare appearance this month for a couple of hours, Michael Sobell House was one of the literally hundreds of stalls from local organisations, we had a Bottle Tombola for the older people and a Winnie the Pooh Tombola for the young at heart.
We made a fantastic £311.98 on the day with many favourable comments being made about how nice it was for The Friends of Michael Sobell House to be at this very very popular local event. I would like to thank all of the Volunteers who helped on the day, with a special thank you going to Peter Tilson (pictured first thing in the morning starting to get set up) who’s idea it was to be at this event.
