The Friends of Michael Sobell House were very fortunate to be the beneficiary of a fundraising event held at Moor Park Golf Club, Northwood on 6th May 2007.
Two members of the Northwood Conservatives, Mrs Carol Melville and Mr Scott Seaman- Digby, presented a cheque for £500 to Rod Lacey, Chairman of the Friends.
The event was held in the recently refurbished Orangery. Eighty four people enjoyed champagne, wine and a sumptuous finger buffet and were entertained by a caricaturist, magician and a pianist.
The Friends of Michael Sobell House were joint beneficiaries of the evening with the Northwood AID Mutual Fund.
We would like to thank everybody who attended the evening and the Northwood Conservatives for all their hard work not only on the day but in the lead up this most successful event.
