 On Monday 25th February, four members of The Welcome Club, presented Steve Grudgings of The Friends of Michael Sobell House a cheque for a fantastic £200.00. They explained to Steve that The Welcome Club, who meet at St Paul's Cathedral, Tiverton Road, Ruislip Manor, every Tuesday evening (except the last Tuesday of the month) raised this money over the last year in a verity of different ways: including, Book Sales, Tea and Coffee Mornings, Auctions, the last Auction being a red auction, members brought in tomato soup/ketchup, red wine etc.
We would very much like to thank the Welcome Club for this wonderful gift and I would like to thank the four ladies who came in to see for themselves the work that is done at the Hospice, Margaret Plampin, Joan Wheeler, Pat Holley and Anita Wilson.
